My Bachelors thesis for Design and Production Technologies at Odisee.

During my studies at Odisee, 3D printing was making a lot of advancements and became more accessible than ever. To get us familiar with the technology, we were assigned with making a moving mechanism. I decided to model mine after a Strandbeest.

For the course Design 4 we were fully free to design a machine. As at the time I was researching unique ways to recycle, I decided to develop a machine that would turn PET drink bottles into usable 3D printing filament!
